Rebrand of “Prime” Models
Don’t worry, the Toyota RAV4 Prime isn’t technically gone. For the 2025 model year, it’s been rebranded as the Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). It doesn’t have significant changes, the rebrand is simply a way to make it easier to recognize the vehicle as a plug-in hybrid vehicle. This change will also be applied to the Toyota Prius Prime, which will be known as the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid moving forward.
