How to Choose Between the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry

If you’re looking for a sleek and sporty sedan, you’ve come to the right spot. The Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry are both excellent choices; you just have to narrow it down to one. Casey Toyota is highlighting them both to help you decide.
Consider Their Sizes
The Toyota Corolla is a five-passenger compact sedan with a generous 88.6 cubic feet of passenger volume. On the other hand, the Toyota Camry is a five-passenger midsize sedan. It provides a little extra space to stretch out with 98.8 cubic feet of passenger volume. You’ll also see extra trunk space in the Toyota Camry, which can hold up to 15.1 cubic feet of cargo, as opposed to 13.1 cubic feet in the Toyota Corolla.
Pick Your Power
The Toyota Camry features a hybrid powertrain with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to generate 225 horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque. Its AWD models add a motor to increase your output to 232 horsepower. The Toyota Corolla uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to generate up to 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. It’s also available with a hybrid powertrain, which uses a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor to deliver 138 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque.
Choose Your Connectivity
Both sedans have an easy-to-use eight-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, which features wireless smartphone integration and a SiriusXM® satellite radio trial. In select models, the Toyota Corolla is available with an expansive 10.5-inch screen. In the Toyota Camry, the screen spans 12.3 inches instead.
