The Toyota Prius is celebrating its 25^th year in the United States. As one of the first mass-produced hybrid vehicles, it is recognized as a significant part of the hybrid movement and continues to get better and better. The 2026 Toyota Prius features the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System and an available electronic on-demand all-wheel drive system, giving you superior efficiency and control on every drive.

New Nightshade Edition for the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid

The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is now available in a new Nightshade Edition. It gives an edge to the sporty sedan by adding striking black accents, black badging, and 19-inch black-finished alloy wheels. It’s also the only trim available in a Karashi exterior shade. The cabin features carbon fiber accents and a fixed glass roof, while still including premium features such as a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system and an eight-way adjustable heated power driver’s seat.

One-Millionth Hybrid Release

The Princeton, Indiana, Toyota plant has celebrated a huge milestone. Their one-millionth hybrid vehicle rolled off the line recently. Once the sleek 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum in Wind Chill Pearl was finished, workers celebrated by flashing its lights and honking its horn. The minivan has been assembled at Toyota Indiana since 2003 and has earned a top spot on J.D. Power’s Vehicle Dependability Study.
