The 2026 Toyota Highlander XLE uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to generate up to 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It also features AWD. The three-row cabin includes seating for seven or can be configured with seating for eight. It also includes:

• 8.0-inch (or available 12.3-inch) Toyota Audio Multimedia® system
• Wireless smartphone integration
• SofTex®-trimmed front- and second-row seats
• Heated front seats
• Three-zone automatic climate control

XSE

The XSE model is only available with seven-passenger seating. It adds notable details such as ambient interior lighting and an available 11-speaker JBL® premium audio system. It upgrades the AWD system to Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive for enhanced capabilities.

Limited

There are even more premium features in the Limited model, such as leather-trimmed front and second-row seats, ventilated front seats, an ornamental dash trim, and faux wood door trim. It also comes standard with the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen.

Platinum

In the Platinum model, there is a panoramic glass roof in addition to the front moonroof. Inside, it adds heated second-row seats. It also includes a 10-inch color Head-Up Display and a Panoramic View Monitor™.

Hybrid Models

The 2026 Toyota Highlander is also available in three distinct hybrid models: Hybrid XLE, Hybrid Limited, and Hybrid Platinum. They can efficiently deliver up to 186 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque with their hybrid powertrain.
